About the Film
Revolutionary Medicine, true to its title, is a provocative, 45-minute documentary focused on the Cuban-Garifuna partnership that led to the first free Garifuna-run hospital.

Dr. Luther Harry Castillo, a Cuban-trained Garifuna doctor is our lively guide. He retraces the journey of the people of Ciriboya, a town in northeastern Honduras, to self-determination and empowerment, through the building of a community hospital. It is a heroic and inspiring struggle, told with intelligence, strength and humor, through the power of story, song and dance—and with an ever present historical context.

*** Suggested donation $10 - $20 (which includes a postcard and a entry into the raffle) Nobody will be turned away from lack of funds... food/drink for sale

WISE NETWORK EDUCATOR TRAINING

WISE Network Summary

The (Wealth Innovation & Strategic Evolution) WISE Network is a shared learning and building space that is membership based and targets historical Black women in America who are direct descendants of enslaved Africans. We work with Black women as they deepen their understanding of the problem of wealth inequity in their contexts and consider how the WISE Network shared approach will foster new skills and opportunities to build generational wealth building and practice group economics.

ALL Educators are required to complete and be certified as a Collective Build Trainer. Please check your email for training details. We're looking forward to working with you!
