KNOWLEDGE PEOPLE CAN USE.

BWWA translates Economic Agency Formation™ into articles, data briefs, tools, workbooks, videos, case studies, and reports that help people and institutions apply the framework in real life.

A STARTING PLACE

MARCH 2016

The State of Black Women’s Economics in Minnesota: A Starting Place was Minnesota’s first report dedicated specifically to the economic status of Black women. Published by BWWA, formerly the Black Women’s Business Alliance, the report examined employment, occupational concentration, entrepreneurship, lending, and barriers to economic independence—and established research as part of BWWA’s institutional mandate.
